2006 Call for Elections of PMSA Regional Board Members

            

Middle level educators who are interested in running  for a three year term on one of four PMSA Regional Boards can download an application from the PMSA website. (www.pmsaweb.org)  Completed applications must be mailed for faxed to Tim Stoops by December 1, 2005 using the guidelines listed below.  The biographies of qualified candidates will be in the January newsletter for membership review.  The regional board election ballots will be mailed to all individual members, dual members, and school members in February of 2006.  New board members will be inducted to their respective boards during the annual PMSA State Conference, March 19-22 at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College, PA. 

 

The following guidelines should be followed for the application process:

 

1. Candidates must be members of PMSA in good standing, either through a school, dual, or individual membership.

2. Candidates must submit a short biographical sketch, which included their statement of intent to support the goals of PMSA and attend regional meetings.

3. Candidates must draft a 100 word statement indicating why they wish to serve on the Regional Board.

4. Candidates must include two references on the applications.
