Each year PMSA seeks to honor an administrator who values, understands and supports effective middle level education that promotes powerful learning for young adolescents.  We look for administrators who;

 

1. Understands how young adolescents learn

2. Champions middle level education by actively promoting middle level education and building community support

3. Recognizes middle level as a distinct entity of education

4. Supports and models effective middle level philosophy

5. Encourages professional development of middle level best practices

 

This years outstanding administrator award was presented to Mrs. Tammy Andreyko - principal of the Ingomar Middle School in the North Allegheny School District.
