Welcome Back!  I hope that everyone had a relaxing summer and a smooth start to the 2007-2008 school year!

 

The Central Region board met in June at Quaker Steak and Lube in State College to start planning for the school year.  We had a brainstorming session to establish a bank of needs that exist in our region.  That session gave us ideas for possible activities that we could hold for our members.  We are looking to plan for a “Scheduling Summit” to be held for administrators sometime in early spring.  The purpose of this summit would be to gather and share the many different schedules that our region has at the middle level.

If you discover an area of need in

your district, please feel free to contact me.  This need may become a possible focus for a future regional opportunity.

 

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2007, at Park Forest Middle School in State College.  The meeting will begin at 3:45 pm.
